This pony rides on a set of Mustang rims that are mounted on a new set of BFG white letter tires ..... Trunk area looks clean and nicely detailed w/ good spare tire.... Just let out of the barn ! You can't beat that fastback style ! This is a nice 65 mustang project car. Some work has been done, as seen in the pictures. It would make a nice GT 350 replica. Originally this car started life out as a 6 cyl. 3 speed, raven black, red interior, fold down rear seat. It was converted to V8 five lug and front disks many years ago. This is a solid car in need of a professional restoration. Frame rails , floors,quarter panels have been replaced.New rear springs,gas tank,trunk lid and hood are solid-rust free. up for auction is a nice 1966 mustang convertible, i'm selling for a client. this car is for sale locally in addition to the ebay auction. all of the information below is provided by the current owner, and for any question please phone 1-405-672-7118, and ask for charles. this car was painted in 1989 and is an "off white" to "snow white'. it was nicely done and has no rust and only minor road chips. this mustang is equip with a rebuilt 289 c.i. V/8 @ 90,000 miles and the odometer shows 147,000. power steering was added in 1998. the exhaust has been replaced with great sounding pipes. the transmission is a 3-speed automatic, and shifts smooth. the speedometer is noisy (probably needs lubed) but reads accurately. the park position is "sensitive" to lock or engage. suspension rides well and has always been well maintained. tires are radial whitewalls and are like new. brakes work very well. convertible top is white in color and is like new. the top mechanism works very well. back window is clear and like new. the interior is a pony type, maroon and white in color. interior shows only minor wear with no tears at all. the dash is a padded unit, the top boot has been replaced. all interior is original or replaced at an unknown time except for top boot. engine compartment is clean, detailed and labeled with no oil leaks. the engine does not burn oil! you will need to replace/repair radio and heater. but there is a replacement new radio and heater core in the trunk compartment. the trunk has been restored and a mustang hand tool/accessory bag is included. this car is a nice driver, and when entered in local car shows it always places with trophies. i would rate this car at the lower end of a "2" or the upper end of a "3". again note, i'm selling this car for a client. please view all photos carefully, and for any questions please phone #1-405-672-7118 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:p.m.- c.s.t., also ask for charles. thanks and good luck bidding.
